Police are releasing CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to following a racially aggravated common assault.
The incident happened on Monday, July 18 at 7pm at Elephant and Castle tube station.
A man made racial comments towards a man as he was boarding a lift to the ground level.
In the Northern Line exit booking hall the victim was then punched in the jaw by the person who made the comments.
PC Ben Pereira of British Transport Police said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
“This was an unprovoked attack which has left the man shaken. Everyone has the right to travel on the rail network without fear or intimidation.”
