Historians have released this image of an unknown WW1 soldier and his family in an attempt to find out who they are.
The unknown soldier is pictured with two small girls with their mother, and his uniform bears no distinguishing details.
Embossed across the bottom of the picture is the name and address of the photographer’s studio that produced it: E. C. Watling / 33, Jamaica Road. / Bermondsey S.E. [London]’.
On the back is printed details ‘British Made’ and ‘935’.
