Transport for London has launched an investigation after the glass ceiling panels at Canada Water Bus station were found damaged.
The smashed windows were found by a bus driver at 5:30am on Saturday morning leading to the closure of the station and diversion buses.
Tony Akers, TfL’s Head of Bus Operations, said: “The bus station was closed and buses diverted to use stops just outside while broken glass was cleaned up and safety checks made.
“The station was fully reopened at 3:30pm on Saturday afternoon. A full investigation into the cause of the damage is underway.”
