Two charity walks will be held this Sunday to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House charity for families with children in hospital.
Two routes, one at fourteen miles, and a shorter three-mile route, are on offer with a £10 and £5 entry free.
All money raised will provide much-needed funds for the charity’s free accommodation next to four of London’s top hospitals, that support over 2,000 families each year.
Facilities include family bedrooms, lounges and kitchens to offer a “home away from home” at a time of stress.
Walkers taking on the fourteen-mile challenge will set off at 10am from Ronald McDonald House Evelina London, next to Lambeth Palace. Those joining the three-mile route will start at 2pm from Ronald McDonald House Camberwell.
Walkers can register pay on the day at both Ronald McDonald House Evelina London, and Ronald McDonald House Camberwell.
Once these two routes have combined, the walk will culminate in all participants crossing the same finish line back at Ronald McDonald House Evelina London from 3pm.
