A twenty-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Joshua Boadu.
Yesterday (September 28) police charged Denillson Davis, (born 10.07.98) of Montgomery Avenue, Hemel Hempstead with the murder of Joshua, who was fatally stabbed in Bermondsey on June 11.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Camberwell Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday, 29 September).
A 17-year-old man who was arrested on Thursday (September 27) on suspicion of murdering the apprentice engineer has been released under investigation.
On Thursday police reissued an appeal for people with any information to come forward.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.
Joshua, 23 – known as SJ to family and friends – was fatally stabbed in the chest outside Helen Taylor House in Linsey Street during a broad daylight attack in June.
The apprentice engineer was put on life support at King’s College Hospital after the stabbing where his family kept a bedside vigil, but he sadly passed away eleven days later when his heart stopped beating.
