A man collapsed and died on a Bermondsey street on Wednesday (July 7).
The man, whose age is not known, was taken ill on Kipling Street near Guy’s Hospital on Wednesday morning at around 10 am. He sadly died at the scene.
Police said they are not investigating the incident. An eyewitness said officers had closed Guy Street to traffic and a tent had been put up around the body.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:”We were called at 9.18am today (7 July) to reports of a person unwell on Kipling Street, SE1.
“We sent an ambulance crew, two medics in cars, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer.
“Sadly, a man died at the scene.”
