London Bridge closed last night during a high-speed police chase.
The Met says officers were alerted to a vehicle after it was picked up by automatic number plate recognition.
After failing to pull over, Met and City officers went into pursuit, bringing traffic on London Bridge to a standstill before the vehicle was brought to a halt.
Four men were arrested.
Police say the incident was ‘not terror related’, but have not given any further details.
Traffic has now returned to normal.
Met and @CityPolice colleagues stopped a vehicle on #LondonBridge #Southwark at 00:38hrs following a pursuit after an ANPR activation. Vehicle had failed to stop, x4 males arrested. Roads were closed but now re-opened. Incident is not terror-related.
