Detectives investigating a phone shop raid on Peckham’s Rye Lane in the early hours of Wednesday morning have charged a suspect.
Twenty-five-year-old Troy Bowes-Adolfess from Hamilton Road, Croydon, was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary yesterday – Thursday, August 30.
He appeared at Camberwell Magistrates’ Court the same day and will be sent to trial at the Old Bailey on Thursday, September 27.
Another suspect, a 24-year-old man, was arrested by Trident officers on Wednesday, August 29 in connection with the firearm offence when two officers were assaulted and later threatened with an aimed gun.
He has been released under investigation.
