Police have charged a man with attempted murder after an attack on an officer in Clapham on Tuesday.
Thirty-five-year-old Julian Peters (04.03.84) will appear in Camberwell Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday, October 24).
He was charged with attempted murder, making threats to kill, and one count of points and blades.
The officer had been responding to reports of a man causing a disturbance and making threats at an address in Lynette Avenue, SW4, at around 9pm that night.
She did not need hospital treatment and is believed to be back at work across Southwark and Lambeth.
