Man pleads not guilty to £1100 of gadget thefts in Peckham Rye

Stanley Obodoechine is accused of stealing mobile phones and an iPad Mini.


A man who pleaded not guilty to allegedly robbing more than £1100 worth of gadgets in two separate incidents in Peckham Rye will appear at Woolwich Crown Court.

On January 21, Stanley Obodoechine, of St George’s Court, East Grinstead, West Sussex, is accused of robbing a mobile phone from a man walking near Peckham Rye station. On February 27, the 18-year-old is alleged to have robbed an iPhone and an iPad Mini from another man in the same area. He faces two counts of robbery. He will appear at Woolwich Crown Court on March 26.
