A man was saved from the Thames this week after members of the public and police worked together in a dramatic rescue operation.
The man, who had fallen from London Bridge on Tuesday morning, was pulled from the water and taken the hospital. He was taken for further treatment under the Mental Health Act.
The man in his late-twenties was struggling in the water by the bridge until a “member of the public came to his assistance”, according to police.
Police and RNLI rescues also assisted in the rescue, which occurred at around 11.41am on January 19.
