A 23-year-old man was stabbed to death in Elephant and Castle last night (Tuesday, December 14).
Police were called to reports of a stabbing at 7.46pm on Hampton Street, a few minutes’ walk south of the Elephant and Castle roundabout. Despite the best efforts of the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance who attended with officers, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed, although formal identification has yet to take place.
Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are investigating and would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time.
