A machete-wielding attacker could still be on the loose in Nunhead after allegedly slashing another man in the head.
The man was seen with the machete on Tuesday afternoon (July 13) on Wroxton Road. Police were called but did not find the assailant.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 16:19hrs on Tuesday, 13 July to Wroxton Road, SE15 after a male was reportedly seen with a machete and another male injured.
“Officers attended and carried out an area search.
“One male, aged 18, was found with a slash injury to his head.
“His condition is not life-threatening.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries remain ongoing.”
