A man in his 20s was taken to hospital after being shot in the leg in East Dulwich.
Police were called to Lordship Lane at 5.30pm yesterday, Thursday, to reports of a man shot in the leg.
The victim, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service.
He remains in hospital but his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
An eyewitness reported seeing a police cordon still in place on Lordship Lane near the junction with Melford Road at about 8am today.
Officers from the Trident and Area Crime Command continue to investigate.
