Pupils at Michael Faraday School raised nearly £250 by running a “collective marathon” earlier this month in aid of the Nepalese earthquake relief effort.
All 28 kids ran 1.5 kilometres each, completing the full length of a marathon as a team effort. They were sponsored to finish their section in less than ten minutes, motivating the fundraising runners to dig deep in the final straight.
All money raised went towards the relief effort in Nepal following the devastating earthquake there last month.
