Lions supporter Ayse Smith will be back at The Den’s gates prior to kick-off collecting sleeping bags for homeless veterans.
The Millwall supporter is urging fellow fans and the community to continue helping those less fortunate by supporting the UK Homes 4 Heroes charity.
“I’m looking for people to donate sleeping bags for homeless veterans,” she said.
“Blankets and quilts are OK too, but sleeping bags are better for them to carry around.
“Hats and gloves are also much appreciated, but more are definitely needed as this cold spell continues. Please have a dig around at home or in your loft.”
UK H4H directors Michelle Thorpe and Jimmy Jukes MBE, added: “UK Homes 4 Heroes Pride & Passion is a registered charity for Homeless Ex-Service Personnel, founded in Bermondsey in 2010.
“We would like to thank all the staff and supporters of Millwall FC for your generosity towards your local charity. Together we can make a difference.”
