After a motorcyclist died on Central Hill yesterday after colliding with a lamppost, police are appealing for witnesses to come forward, and dash-cam footage.
Officers were called to the incident at 2.33pm on Tuesday, July 24, to reports of a motorcycle colliding with a lamppost in SE19.
Paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance attended, but despite their best efforts, the 37-year-old male rider was pronounced dead at the scene at 3pm.
His next of kin have been informed and a post mortem examination is due to be held.
A 38-year-old female pedestrian was taken hospital with minor injuries and has now been discharged.
Detectives are now investigating and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and share dash-cam footage urgently.
