A motorcyclist was taken to hospital yesterday morning after he was involved in a collision with a car on Abbey Street in Bermondsey.
The accident occurred at around 9.30am, when the Met Police and the London Ambulance Service were called.
A police spokesperson said that his injuries were “neither life-threatening nor life-changing” and that the motorcyclist should make a full recovery.
Abbey Street and Druid Street were temporarily closed following the collision, a spokesperson for Transport for London said.
While the closure did cause some traffic congestion, the roads had re-opened within an hour, the spokesperson added.
