Appeal to identify man fighting for life after Camberwell assault

A man and woman have been charged with attempted murder after an assault in Camberwell.

Officers were called to Warner Road, SE5 at 05:41hrs on Saturday, 15 September following reports of an assault and found an unidentified man suffering head injuries.

Today police are appealing for the public’s help in identifying the victim.

He is described as white, aged in his early to mid-40s, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build with short dark hair.

He has a mole on his right cheek near to his nostril.

The unidentified man spoke briefly in Spanish and was wearing a black Superdry hooded top, a black T-shirt, dark blue jeans and black Nike Air trainers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Southwark via 101 quoting reference 1537/15Sept.
