Police have launched a murder inquiry after a 27-year-old man was shot dead in Brixton on Sunday night (September 12).
Officers were called by ambulance workers to the scene of the shooting in Ferrey Mews, off Overton Road at about 9pm on Sunday. Two people were found with gunshot wounds.
A 27-year-old man died at the scene. A woman, who officers believe to be 29, was taken to hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
A third woman, thought to be 26, later took herself to hospital with minor injuries. Police have not made any arrests and the investigation is ongoing. The dead man’s next of kin have been informed.
