Khan’s Bargains gained a new Art Deco-inspired sign over the weekend.
It is the latest milestone in the restoration of the former Holdron’s Arcade.
As the News has reported, the heritage building received a Historic England award after its vaulted roof was brought back to its former glory in a year-long project.
The new sign was installed using fabricated powder-coated metal letters in Gill Sans font.
It is set on the surviving original 1950s hand-glazed tiles – an original feature uncovered during previous work on the building.
