Police raiding a cannabis factory in Bermondsey seized 90 plants and found evidence of tampering with the electricity meter, last Friday.
When they arrived at the Alscot Way property, officers from the Grange Safer Neighbourhood team noticed “a strong smell of cannabis” and found the plants, which were brought to a local police station and are due to be destroyed.
There was nobody in the building at the time of the raid and no arrests have been made. Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information should call Sergeant Chris Iliffe on 0208 721 2439 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
