A cyclist is fighting for his life after a collision with an ambulance on the Old Kent Road late last night.
Cops say they were called to the collision at around 10.40pm to the collision at the junction of Rowcross Street in Bermondsey.
The ambulance stopped at the scene. The man, in his thirties, was rushed to hospital and remains there at the time of writing in a critical condition.
Nobody was arrested, says the Met. The road was closed eastbound going towards Lewisham and busses placed on diversion as emergency services dealt with the scene.
It had reopened by 5am this morning.
