The major road was closed during the morning rush hour after a female motorcyclist, aged in her 30s, was involved in the collision at about 6am today, Tuesday.

The woman was taken to a south London hospital but police say her injuries are not life-threatening.

The road was reopened by about 10am and no arrests were made.
