Paul Weller fans can now get their hands on a limited edition print of the painting created for his Movin’ On music video.
Movin’ On was the first track released from 60-year-old Weller’s fourteenth solo album, True Meanings.
The video follows artist Ed Gray as he walks through Walworth Road and Elephant and Castle, cut with scenes of him creating the painting in his studio, as Weller sings: “I’ve got love all around / I don’t need nothing else / I watch the evening sky / Oh and it’s painting itself.”
Back in September, the Rotherhithe-based artist told the News the painting, entitled Movin’ On (Love All Around) Walworth Road, was, incredibly, completed in just a day – and shot within 24 hours too.
Gray has now released a set of 195 prints on watercolour paper, with 50 per cent of the sale price being directly donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
