London’s first ever hot sauce festival will be held in Peckham’s Copeland Park this April, with free entry all day.
The Hot Sauce Society festival will bring together more than 30 independent hot sauce makers from the UK and abroad to sell their range of hot sauces, chutneys and chilli jams.
The day-long festival will also include a range spicy games and workshops for all ages, with food, alcohol and gift stalls. Hot sauce beer pong and DJ sets with ‘party bangers and disco floor fillers’ are also promised for adult guests.
Traders already lined up include Disco Hot Sauce, Peckham Sauce Company and Hop Burns and Black present the American Hot Sauce Experience.
Drinks on offer will include ‘The Peckham Michelada’, a mix of lager, tequila, tomato juice and Frank’s RedHot sauce – if you dare.
The Hot Sauce Festival runs from 11am to 11pm on April 13, 2019 with all-day free entry.
