Peckham woman charged after mum and baby ‘threatened’ on Central Line

A woman from Peckham has been charged after a mother and baby were ‘threatened’ on the tube.

Twenty-one-year-old Millicent Barnes from Peckham’s Commercial Road has been charged with an offence contrary to section 4 of the Public Order Act.

According to the British Transport Police, she was charged in connection with an incident on a Central Line train travelling between Bank and St Paul’s on Wednesday, July 18, when a mother and baby were believed to have been threatened.

She will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 28.
