Police appeal to locate man police want to speak with in connection with Lambeth Road rape

Detectives investigating a rape in Southwark have released details of a man they want to speak with in connection with the alleged attack.

On Tuesday, 15 October, a woman contacted police reporting that she was raped at around 3am in Tibetan Peace Gardens in Lambeth Road.

Officers say they would like to speak to Eleas Alfa Patience Godwin, 43, in connection with this case.

He has no fixed address and his whereabouts are currently unknown.

Godwin has been known to frequent homeless hostels in the central London area.

If you have information, please call 101.

Anyone who sees Godwin is asked not to approach him but to call 999 immediately.
