Police are appealing for witnesses after a large-scale brawl outside Elephant and Castle station on Saturday that ended with a woman being knocked down by a car.
The fight broke out at about 7am and left three men injured and needing hospital treatment. The 24-year-old woman who was caught in the collision was taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The car involved in the collision was stopped by police near Falmouth Road and its three occupants were arrested, including two men aged 22 and 20, and a woman of 27. They have been released on bail to dates in mid and late June, and early August, pending further enquiries. Elephant Road remained closed at the junction with New Kent Road and Walworth Road until 12pm.Officers are keen to hear from any witnesses via 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
