The Met have launched an investigation to track down a suspect after a nineteen-year-old was ‘slashed’ on a Bermondsey estate yesterday.
Officers were called to the Millpond Estate, close to Bermondsey Wall East, at around 13.20pm to reports of a man armed with knives.
When they arrived on the scene, they found a nineteen-year-old suffering from a slash injury on his arm.
An ambulance crew was also dispatched to treat the injured nineteen-year-old, confirmed a London Ambulance spokesman.
The teenager was rushed to hospital where his injuries were deemed “non-life-threatening or life-changing.”
Armed officers, the Met’s Police Dog unit and a police helicopter launched a hunt for the suspect but he was not found.
Efforts to track him down are still ongoing, the Met told the News.
No arrests have been made and police investigations continue.
