Police have confirmed they are investigating an allegation that a female in her late teens was raped on campus at Camberwell College of Art.
The report to the police was made on Wednesday, September 20, at a residential address at the college in Peckham Road.
A statement from the Met said: “The victim, aged in her late teens, was attacked by a man.
“Detectives from the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command (CASO) are investigating.
“No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.”
A spokesperson for the University of the Arts London, which Camberwell College of Art is a part of, said: “We can confirm we are assisting police with their enquiries into a serious incident which occurred last week.
“Our students’ safety and well-being is of paramount importance, and we have encouraged any students who want advice or support to contact our Dean of Students.”
