Police are investigating after a woman reported she was raped in a car park in Peckham last week.
The 21-year-old said the attack took place at a car park on Copeland Road, SE15, between one and four in the morning on Thursday, September 20.
Detectives from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command have launched an investigation.
The Met confirmed today that enquiries are continuing but no arrests have been made.
According to the latest figures released by police, there were 71 crimes reported to police classed as ‘violence and sexual offences’ in the Rye Lane area in July of this year alone.
