Detectives investigating a sexual assault on the 136 bus have released an image of a man they ‘would like to speak to’.
The victim, a 28-year-old woman, boarded the bus travelling from Lewisham Hospital toward Elephant and Castle at around 2.10am on Friday, November 9. She was sat near the exit doors.
A few minutes into her journey the suspect approached her and sexually assaulted her. She challenged the man and he then got off the bus by Lewisham station.
The suspect is described as being a man in his mid to late 20s, around 5″10 and with a slim build and ‘Mediterranean appearance’. He has black, slicked back hear and was wearing a blue hoodie or jacket, jeans, and a light-coloured cap facing backwards.
Anyone with information, or who recognises the man (pictured) should call 101 or – to remain anonymous – contact Crimestoppers.
