Prince Harry visited King’s College Hospital on July 7 to talk to leading specialists at the Trust about their work in diagnosing and treating people with HIV.
The specialists held a roundtable discussion with the Prince to discuss the issues the Trust faces, as well as national and global challenges in the fight against HIV.
Raising public awareness of the ongoing challenge presented by HIV, both in the UK and around the world, is a significant priority for the Prince after he set up the charity Sentebale in 2006, to help young people with HIV in Lesotho, southern Africa.
