A public meeting has been called in Rotherhithe to address the community’s concerns over crime in the area after recent incidents in and around Russia Dock Woodland.
Southwark’s Inspector for neighbourhood policing Owen Pyle is expected to speak at the event, as well as Bermondsey and Old Southwark MP Neil Coyle, Rotherhithe ward councillor Stephanie Cryan, who will chair the meeting, and Cllr Evelyn Akoto, cabinet member for community safety & public health.
Surrey Docks ward councillors are also expected to attend.

The meeting will hear from the speakers before the event is opened up to the public for questions.
The event will be hosted at Redriff Primary School, Salter Road, SE16 5LQ, from 7-8.30pm on Friday, June 22.
