Art and music lovers gathered in their thousands to see the work of a woman who has created eye-popping stage designs for the likes of Rihanna, The Pet Shop Boys and Muse.
Copeland Park – a warehouse behind the Bussey Building in Peckham – was the chosen location for Esmerelda Devlin’s Mirror Maze experience.
People queued for up to four hours from Wednesday to Sunday last week, with the installation promoted by Chanel and i-D.
The tour took visitors who had travelled the world over to get lost in immersive graphics, an elaborate passage of mirror walls and staircases into cavernous corridors. Each new room was also fragranced with a different perfume.
Esmerelda herself turned up to guide a lucky few through the maze on its opening day.
