A busy road has been closed off after a motorcyclist crashed their bike and ran from the scene.
The motorbike was in collision with a car in Ilderton Road, near the junction with Rollins Street, at about 1.45pm today.
Police, ambulance, and fire crews were at the scene this afternoon after the motorcyclist made off.
There have been no reports of injuries and diversions are in place.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told the News: “We were called at 1.46pm to reports of a motorcycle involved in a collision with a car.
“The motorcyclist has run from the scene. There are no reports of injuries.
“Road closures are in place while emergency services deal with the incident.”
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said firefighters were called out to deal with “fuel on the road” at the junction of Ilderton Road and Rollins Street at 2.02pm.
