Moving tributes have been laid in Southwark Park today to mark what would have been the 39th birthday of murdered Bermondsey man, Rocky Djelal.
Family and friends have laid flowers and balloons on the spot where Mr Djelal was fatally stabbed exactly three months ago today to commemorate his birthday.
Mr Djelal was stabbed on October 31 in broad daylight near to the children’s play area in Southwark Park.
Two men have been charged by officers investigating his murder and are due to stand trial at the Old Bailey next month.
Stephen O’Rourke, 46, of Grosvenor Park, Kennington was charged with murder, on November 17.
Jason O’Rourke, 34, of Catford Hill, Lewisham, was charged with assisting an offender.
