An inquest into the death of a Bermondsey teenager who tragically fell to his death earlier this year will take place tomorrow (Friday, September 13).
Friends and family of popular Ryan O’Donnell, 20, believe that the free-climber may have been attempting to jump for a nearby tree in the moments before his untimely death on 10 May on Bermondsey’s Marden Square.
They also believe the ‘free-loving spirit’ may have taken magic mushrooms prior to his death.
An inquest to establish what happened prior to the tragedy will take place on Friday, September 13 at Southwark Coroner’s Court at 1.30pm under the direction of coroner Phillip Barlow.
Previously speaking to the News from Ryan’s family home on the nearby Manor Estate, doting mum Pam described her son as an adventurous young man who loved climbing and cared deeply for everyone around him.
A fundraiser set up in memory of popular Ryan, who had been studying music at Morley College, raised nearly £8,000 to pay for the funeral costs.
