Real-life reindeer will be trotting through the streets on November 25, as part of Peter Hills School Christmas Fair, writes Kirsty Purnell…
A reindeer family, consisting of mum, dad and baby, will be pulling Santa and his elves into the school yard at 4pm on Friday.
“The kids will have the chance to see Santa coming down the street on his sleigh,” said Harry Gordon, PTA member at the school, “Hopefully it’ll be quite magical for them.”
Children can pose for photos with the reindeer, which are being hired from The Reindeer Centre in Kent.
The fair promises plenty of other attractions including face painting, a range of independent stalls and a giant, twelve foot Santa’s grotto.
Entry is on a donation basis with a nominal extra charge for Santa’s Grotto entrance.
The fair runs from 3.30-6.30pm and Santa and his reindeers will be arriving at 4pm.
