Police are appealing for information after a sixteen-year-old boy has been stabbed and rushed to hospital yesterday.
Police officers were flagged down at 9.30am on Monday, May 16 to reports of a stabbing in Falmouth Close, Blackheath.
The victim was taken to a north London hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police were granted additional search powers in the area north of South Circular Road (A205) in Lewisham, under Section 60 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994.
The authorisation ran from 10.30am on Monday, 16 May until 01.30am on Tuesday, 17 May.
Additional police patrols have also been taking place in the area.
No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.
