A Peckham woman has been banged up for two and a half years after getting two council flats and scamming £66,000 in benefits.
Bolarinwa Odulate bought her Southwark Council property through the Right to Buy scheme in 2004.
She then rented it out as she put her own name down for a second council flat in Richmond.
Using her expertise as a ‘social housing officer’, the 38-year-old was able to get a property in the west London borough in 2009 and went on to swindle benefits intended for vulnerable people.
Odulate pleaded guilty to two counts of fraud in July and was sentenced at Kingston Crown Court on Friday.
