A Southwark and Lambeth police constable has been dismissed for drug use.
PC Jordan Bignall was dismissed without notice from the Met after a misconduct hearing yesterday (Wednesday, February, 3).
He was accused of breaching standards of professional behaviour in respect of fitness for duty and discreditable conduct.
A statement from the Met confirmed that “PC Bignall failed to ensure he was fit to carry out his responsibilities and behaved in a manner which brought discredit on the police service after knowingly ingesting amphetamine.”
