A Southwark brewery is donating £1 for each pint served in memory of the policeman who died in yesterday’s terror attack.

Southwark Brewing Company is donating £1 to the Police Dependants’ Trust in memory of PC Keith Palmer for every pint it serves.

Pc Palmer, 48, was tragically stabbed to death by a man during a terror attack in Westminster yesterday afternoon.

The husband and father was a member of the Met’s parliamentary and diplomatic protection command with 15 years of service as a police officer.

It is believed he had also been a member of the Royal Artillery before he joined the police.

The trust helps families of police officers killed or debilitated in the line of duty.

It was set up in December 1966 following the murder of three police officers by armed criminals.

In a tweet in the early hours of this morning, Southwark Brewing Company, located in a railway arch in Druid Street, said: “Yesterday was a horrible day in London PC Keith Palmer lost his life & we will donate £1 for every pint sold to the Police Dependant’s Trust.”
