A Southwark-based charity that provides human rights advice and other support to vulnerable people needs to raise £8,000 to keep running.
Creative Treaty, which distributes ‘wellness packs’ that include vouchers for food and vitamin supplements, as well as booklets explaining human rights to people in need, said it needs more money to support the growing number of people that need its services.
The charity has already had support from the National Lottery but still needs to raise £8,000 within the next months to survive.
India Doris, who founded and runs the charity, said: “Thanks to vital financial assistance from the National Lottery Community Fund, in the last six months we have provided over 750 Wellness Packs to vulnerable households across the UK, and supported 25 victims of human rights injustices through our mediation services.
“We urgently require funding to continue this important work and support our service users in desperate need.”
