Southwark’s annual fireworks display is returning for its sixteenth year in Southwark Park on November 5.
The display is free for all Southwark residents.
Tickets must be booked online or over the phone, and a first wave of tickets have already sold out. A second release of tickets goes live at 9am on Monday, October 21.
Gates to the event opens at 5pm with food, drink, fire dancers and a funfair before the main event.
For the first time, council officials are also working with Mobiloo, a company which provides accessible toilet facilities.
They hope that this will encourage disabled young people and adults to attend the event.
Last entry to the park will be at 6.30pm. The council has strongly advised ticket holders to arrive as early as possible to avoid queues.
“I am delighted that the addition of a Mobiloo will open up this year’s fireworks to more people than ever before,” said Southwark Council’s Cllr Rebecca Lury.
“I would encourage everyone who lives in Southwark, to logon, book their free ticket and join us for a magnificent annual fireworks display.”
