Hampers, gifts and Christmas dinners are being delivered across the borough

TRAs across Southwark have gone the extra mile to ensure no one is left behind this Christmas.

Rye Hill TRA has been delivering hampers and Christmas gifts with London Social Senior Social, checking on vulnerable residents, and even sprang into action to help out students stuck in London in need of food after the new tier 4 restrictions were announced.

The estate has also been decked out with some decorations courtesy of A&E Elkins Ltd.

Freshly cooked Christmas dinners from Fooditude arrived at Rennie and Manor Tenants’ Hall last week.

Fooditude, along with Bermondsey Employment and Skills Training, has helped support Manor TRA since April.

“This is where our community network started back in April… We can never thank you enough,” Manor TRA said.

Meanwhile, Silverlock TRA couldn’t hold its usual Christmas party this year but that didn’t stop Santa from making an appearance. Hardworking volunteers delivered gifts across the Rotherhithe estate throughout last week.
