Police were called to the scene at 4.20pm on September 2, after reports of a violent incident which left the sixteen-year-old victim with non-life threatening head injuries. A brick is believed to have been used to carry out the attack.
The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle while the victim was taken to hospital by ambulance. A sixteen-year-old boy has since been arrested on Thursday in connection with the attack. Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting reference 3025507/15.
