Three men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder are believed to have been linked to the stabbing of a nineteen-year-old on Saturday.
At around 4pm, on December 14 police were told a teenager had been found suffering from stab injuries at hospital in south London.
At the same time, officers in an unmarked police vehicle indicated for a car on South Lambeth Road to stop. The car then collided with the police vehicle.
The three men inside were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon and dangerous driving.
At this stage it is believed they are linked to the victim but enquiries are ‘ongoing’.
A section 60 stop and search order was put in place until 7am on Sunday across parts of Southwark including SE1 and SE17.
The victim’s condition is said to be not life-threatening.
