More people have been charged for drug offences after dawn raids across south London, with alleged dealers from Bermondsey, Blackfriars and Nunhead among others appearing in court yesterday.
Police say they are taking on drug dealers to reduce violent crime, particularly in Lewisham, and have now charged ten more people with drug offences who were all due to appear Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
This comes after a dozen were charged last week after raids in Peckham, New Cross and Wembley.
Terek Hamlaoui, aged nineteen (19.08.98), from Lovelinch Close in Bermondsey, was charged with two counts of supplying a controlled drug of Class A (heroin and crack cocaine); two counts of offering to supply a controlled drug of Class A (heroin and crack cocaine); one count of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (crack cocaine); and one count of possession of a controlled drug of Class B (cannabis).
Claire Little, 39 (20.5.79), of St Mary’s Road, Nunhead, SE15 was charged with one count of supplying a controlled drug of Class A (crack cocaine).
Cherose Morgan, 24 (7.12.93), of Blackfriars Road, SE1 was charged with supplying a controlled drug of Class A.
Javaughn Brown, aged 28 (27.10.89), from Mount Pleasant Road in Hither green, SE13 was charged with four counts of supplying a controlled drug of Class A (crack cocaine and heroin); one count of offering to supply a controlled drug of Class A (crack cocaine); two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A (heroin and crack cocaine); and one count of possession of criminal property.
Rajeem Morgan, 33 (1.10.84), of Richmond House, Greenwich, SE10 was charged with one count of supplying a controlled drug of Class A (crack cocaine).
Jhameele Frazer, 21 (27.3.97), of Deans Gate Close in Forest Hill, SE23 was charged with two counts of supplying a controlled drug of Class A (crack cocaine); and one count of possession of a controlled drug of Class B (cannabis).
Kevin Lawrence, 36 (4.12.1981), of Liberty House, Greenwich, SE10 was charged with six counts of supplying a controlled drug of Class A (heroin, crack cocaine and cocaine).
Variel Davids, 31 (19.7.87), of Honor Oak Estate, SE4 was charged with four counts of supplying a controlled drug of Class A (heroin and crack cocaine).
Linton Watt, 50 (17.4.68), of Bell Green, Sydenham, SE26 was charged with one count of supplying a controlled drug of Class A (crack cocaine); and one count of possession of a controlled drug of Class B (cannabis).
Ulando Davids, 20 (6.11.97), of Erlanger Road, from New Cross, SE14 was charged with three counts of supplying a controlled drug of Class A (heroin and crack cocaine).
And a 39-year-old man from Lewisham was arrested on suspicion of drug offences was released under investigation.
